Click & Play Photography 

Join Patty for a full-day Click & Play Photography experience celebrating spring in Niagara.

Event Itinerary

(Itinerary subject to change due to best available blossoms, photography locations and weather)

10:00 AM – Meet at Niagara Butterfly Conservatory
Begin the day photographing butterflies while strolling the winding indoor pathways.
Photography focus: macro techniques and capturing movement.Travel to a nearby peach farm (approximately 25-minute drive).

12:00–1:00 PM – Peach Blossom Photography
Meet at a local Niagara-on-the-Lake Peach farm.  Photograph beautiful pink peach blossoms while exploring light, composition, and spring colour.

1:30 PM – Lunch Break

Meet at a designated meeting spot in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Free time for lunch. Bringing a bag lunch is highly recommended.

2:30–5:00 PM – Niagara-on-the-Lake Walking Photography Tour
Enjoy a guided photography walk through historic Niagara-on-the-Lake. Capture cherry blossoms, lilacs, charming streets, architecture, and shop facades while practicing composition and visual storytelling.

What’s Included:
  • Entrance to Butterfly Conservatory and Peach Farm
  • Mentorship
  • Photography Challenges, insights and town tour
What’s Not Included:
  • Parking at Butterfly Conservatory
  • Lunch (please bring a picnic lunch)
  • Non-walking Transport between photo locations
What to Bring:
  • Camera (DSLR, mirrorless, advanced compact or Smartphone)
  • Fully charged batteries and extra memory cards
  • Macro lens or close-focusing lens (optional but recommended for butterflies)
  • Comfortable walking shoes (expect several hours of walking)
  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  • Bag lunch and water
  • Small backpack or camera bag for easy mobility
  • Notebook or phone for notes and inspiration
All skill levels are welcome. Bring curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to explore.
Accessibility Notes
  • This event includes extended periods of walking, particularly during the afternoon tour of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
  • The Niagara Butterfly Conservatory is wheelchair accessible and features paved, indoor pathways.
  • The Niagara-on-the-Lake walking tour takes place on sidewalks, paved streets, and some uneven surfaces in historic areas.
  • Restrooms are available at the Butterfly Conservatory and in town during the lunch break.
  • Participants are encouraged to pace themselves and take breaks as needed.
